The Support of Strong Women

I am honored to have the support of many strong women in the community as I run for Etown City Council.  Two in particular were kind enough to sign my petition giving me access to the November 3 ballot.

Jacqueline Gerard, PhD signing my 2020 petition.

Jacqueline Carter Gerard, PhD, spent 15 years as a Performance Coach at HMH.  Her background is in organizational development, which is primarily about assisting groups to identify improvements and then teaching them how to be effective at implementing and sustaining the change.

“The City Council has the qualities of a team,” said Jackie, “Teams that produce great outcomes are often diverse in experience and discipline.  Julia brings this diversity – having lived in many parts of the US, worked in private business and law and in working in both for-profit and non-profit sectors.”

I am also grateful for the support of Carla Breeding.  Carla has spent her 36-year career as an educator – half as a teacher and half as an administrator.  I am happy to call Carla a close friend, she has taught me so much about our community and the people in it.

“Julia knows how to examine issues, look at things very objectively and come up with good solutions,” Carla said. “You also don’t see many people who are able to demonstrate their care and commitment to the community the way she does.”

I appreciate both of these women’s contributions to our community and will work hard to live up to their standards and expectations as a member of the Elizabethtown City Council.  To learn more about me, please visit VoteJuliaSpringsteen.com or follow my campaign on facebook @VoteSpringsteen.  If you have questions, please email me at VoteJuliaforEtown@gmail.com.
